If you’re a Listener, MappStream empowers you to hear local live audio streaming in your community and around the world, right here and right now!
You can even search by subject and share the live audio broadcast content with friends using Twitter or Facebook directly from within Mappstream’s interface.

MAPPSTREAM’S UNIQUE FEATURES INCLUDE:

• Puts the power of setting up a live audio broadcast "on the fly" in the hands of anyone with a mobile phone (iPhone/iPad for now) who has something relevant or entertaining to communicate to local listeners.

• Listeners can search and select from available live audio content streaming around them in real time. You press "locate me" then assign how far out you want the app to scan and arrive then at a map with audio icons. Just remember, you are red and everyone broadcasting around you is green! Press once and you get a pop-up that tells you who it is and what it is. Press twice and youre listening in!

• We’re a mobile app that can serve as an alternative to Radio; Music, Talk, Sports, Business, Weather, etc. Rather than turning the dial to tune in to limited options cluttered with ads, this map-based medium puts you directly in touch with your community, allowing you to filter by distance and by subject. What you discover could literally be anything. Plus it’s original and local!
